ISEA Celebrates 1000+ Members!

In June of this year, ISEA surpassed 1000 members. This is a tremendous feat and the Board thanks each of you for your passion and enthusiasm for this cause. ISEA signed a Journal Affiliation Agreement with Taylor & Francis for Quality Engineering

Quality Engineering, an official journal of the American Society for Quality (ASQ,) aims to promote a rich exchange among the quality engineering community by publishing papers that describe new engineering methods ready for immediate industrial application or examples of techniques uniquely employed.

As an affiliate, ISEA may make recommendations for the Editor-in-Chief.

The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) named Peter A. Parker, statistician at NASA Langley Research Center and ISEA President, an AIAA Fellow during its 2022 Sci Tech Forum in San Diego January 3rd for “significantly impacting the aerospace body of knowledge and practice through the development and leadership of the new discipline of statistical engineering.” 

Two ISEA Leaders Publish New Book on Statistical Engineering

This book, by Roger Hoerl and Ron Snee, utilizes a state-of-the-art approach to teaching introductory business statistics, which has been tested for more than eight years in the classroom.  It fills an important void, one that many have been concerned about for some time.
