Dear ISEA Community,
We’re excited to introduce a new and engaging feature at the upcoming 2025 ISEA Summit—our SE Collaborative Clinic, designed to bring real-world challenges into the spotlight and explore how Statistical Engineering can offer practical solutions.
These sessions will be dynamic, collaborative, and focused on problem-solving, not presentations. Whether you’re in industry, academia, or somewhere in between, we want to hear from you.

What We’re Looking For

Submit a short data problem. These can be:

• Challenges you're currently facing in your work
• Conceptual or systems-level issues
• Open-ended questions that would benefit from diverse perspectives
• Gaining stakeholder acceptance of the statistical approach

We will consider all submissions. Based on the criteria below, a few would be selected for the Lightning Session at the Summit for potential collaboration and discussion. For the remaining submissions, we will reach out with potential avenues for finding solutions.
You can submit anonymously or choose to present the challenge yourself. If selected and you prefer not to present, a member of the organizing committee can do so on your behalf.

Selection Criteria

We’ll review submissions based on:

• Clarity: Is the problem easy to understand for a general audience?
• Relevance to Statistical Engineering: Does it open the door to SE-based solutions? (Read more about SE -www.isea-change.org)
• Opportunity for Insight: Will it lead to a valuable, engaging discussion?
• Collaborative Potential: Does it invite perspectives across disciplines or sectors?

Session Format

Each selected topic will be featured in a live session with the following structure:

• 5 minutes: Problem is presented (by you or a committee member)
• 10 minutes: Moderated open discussion with input from panelists and attendees

• 2–3 sentence description
• Optional: Industry or context
• Optional: Your name (or indicate anonymous submission)
